Hypnotherapy -

The most common questions I get are "Is it Voodoo?"  "Are you going to make me act like a monkey?"  Well . . . only if you want to.  So, no.  It's not voodoo and I won't make you act like a monkey.  You actually do hypnotherapy every day and are probably completely unaware that you are doing it.  How often have you driven home from work or shopping and you are so exhausted, wondering how the car is going to make it home, and the next thing you know, you're already home and you wonder how you got there.  That's hypnosis/hypnotherapy at work.   What about when you're sitting in front of your computer playing games, or sitting in front of the television playing video games and the time just seems to fly by.  Yep.  You're already in a light state of hypnosis/ hypnotherapy, one we call Alpha state.  So, there's really nothing scary about it, because you are already doing it.  Did you know that the American Medical Association actually sat up and took notice when a patient who was having thyroid surgery underwent surgery, without anesthesia, by using a much deeper form of hypnosis, one that we call Delta, and that was back in the 1950s.  It is a very deep state and not the one that I use in our classes.  So, you see, hypnosis/ hypnotherapy has been around a very long time.  Historians can track the use of hypnosis/hypnotherapy back to the days of the ancient Egyptians.  In modern times, many actors and actresses have used hypnosis/ hypnotherapy to stop smoking, lose weight and many people today, as well as medical professionals, send their patients to us to help with pain management, fear of dentists, phobias, stress, weight loss, smoking cessation, boosting your bottom line, etc.  Did you know that you can actually change a habit in 21 days?  Amazing, isn't it?  So, hypnosis/hypnotherapy isn't so scary after all.    If you're interested in attending any of our classes or you'd rather have private sessions, then please email or call me for more information.
